The relationship between measurement and campaign learning
Launch library · evergreen read

Measurement only produces genuine learning when its actual findings truly feed back into how future campaigns are planned and executed, rather than being filed away quietly as a report once a given campaign simply concludes. Treating measurement purely as a compliance exercise wastes most of the real value it could otherwise genuinely provide to the organisation.
Building this feedback loop deliberately, with a genuinely clear process for reviewing past results before planning any new work, helps an organisation genuinely improve over time rather than repeating the same avoidable mistakes across successive campaigns simply because nobody ever revisited what earlier measurement had already clearly revealed to them.
This particular relationship works best when measurement is treated as a genuine partner to strategy right from the beginning, not a separate function brought in only at the very end to produce a report nobody reads. Campaigns planned with learning genuinely in mind tend to generate insight that is truly usable, not merely descriptive.
