Writing a campaign one pager for internal stakeholders
Launch library · evergreen read

A campaign one pager exists to give busy internal stakeholders, who were not part of every planning conversation along the way, a fast and genuinely accurate understanding of what the campaign is trying to achieve and exactly how it plans to do so. Its real value lies entirely in its brevity, since a stakeholder who genuinely needed a lengthy document would simply ask for the full plan directly instead.
A genuinely useful one pager states the objective clearly, the core idea, the key dates and the specific support required from the particular stakeholder reading it, without wandering unnecessarily into the full creative rationale or channel level detail that properly belongs in a longer planning document held elsewhere for reference.
Investing time in a clear one pager tends to prevent a common and genuinely costly problem: a senior stakeholder discovering, midway through an active campaign, that they misunderstood its purpose entirely because nobody ever gave them a document simple enough to actually read carefully and retain over time.
